- In the German DVGW worksheet G 607 for LPG systems in occupied leisure vehicles and for living purposes in other road vehicles, it is prescribed in the chapter for operation and testing that pressure regulators are to be replaced 10 years after the date of manufacture at the latest. If the working pressure of the system is 30 mbar, pursuant to G 607, a regulator according to EN 16129, annex D (e.g. part no. 01 280 10) is to be used in the event of a replacement. For LPG systems in vehicles with a working pressure of 50 mbar, a non-compliance permit applies. There is no obligation to convert to 30 mbar.
- In the German DVGW worksheet G 608 “Small water crafts – Operating and testing the LPG system”, it is prescribed that pressure regulators and hose assemblies are to be replaced with new ones six years after the date of manufacture at the latest. If the working pressure of the system is 30 mbar, pursuant to G 608 a pressure regulator according to EN 16129, annex M (e.g. part no. 01 280 14) is to be used in the event of a replacement. For LPG systems in boats with a working pressure of 50 mbar, a non-compliance permit applies. There is no obligation to convert to 30 mbar. For LPG systems pursuant to EN ISO 10239, pressure regulators with a pressure gauge or installation of a leak tester are prescribed.
