GOK supports local Kindergarten
27 Nov 2024As has been the case for almost three decades, in 2024, instead of buying Christmas presents for its business partners, GOK has decided to support charitable and social welfare organisations in its home region. This year, the GOK Christmas donation is going to the St. Elisabeth Catholic Kindergarten in Marktbreit.
Family-owned company GOK is donating 5,000 euros to its local kindergarten. At a festive gathering, company owner Dieter Kleine, his successor Evelyn Kleine and managing directors Andreas Brohm and Manuel Stöcker presented the donation cheque to a staff delegation at the kindergarten, consisting of Birgit Braun and Andrea Klafke (staff team) as well as Tina Schejbal and Andreas Lauck (parents’ advisory board).
"We have decided to spend the donation on a motorised stroller, as we haven’t got one yet and dragging the smallest ones along by hand on walks can get pretty strenuous," explained Silke Freitag, the educational head of the kindergarten who was unable to attend the presentation day in person.
As a family-owned company with deep local roots, the management team from GOK highlighted its dedication to supporting the youngest members of the local community. In recent years, the company has frequently supported kindergartens and social welfare organisations in the local area.
