Sunlight and Carado vehicles now with Caramatic SafeDrive PLUS

GOK and CAPRON announce their cooperation. The Caramatic SafeDrive PLUS from regulator and fitting specialist GOK is now available as an optional extra in the leisure vehicles that are fitted at the CAPRON production plant in Neustadt. The Sunlight and Carado brands thus score points with a comfort solution in terms of gas supply: The two-cylinder system Caramatic SafeDrive PLUS is screwed directly to the gas cylinders and thanks to the integrated crash sensor, these can always remain open, even while driving.

Anyone who chooses a Sunlight or Carado model in future can order it ex works with the new Caramatic SafeDrive PLUS compact gas control system. The Lower Franconian controller specialist GOK and CAPRON, production company of the Sunlight and Carado brands from Saxon Switzerland, are cooperating starting with the 2025 model year.

David Wünsche, Strategic Buyer at CAPRON, explains why the company will be relying on Caramatic SafeDrive PLUS in the future: “One of our guiding principles is that we always offer the highest possible quality. In addition, our vehicles are characterised by the fact that they correspond to the latest state of the art in every respect. The SafeDrive is a true gas supply innovation and offers campers a plus in comfort with the highest safety standards. So it was only natural for us to enter into dialogue with GOK.”

Compact system for ease of use and safety
The Caramatic SafeDrive has only been on the market since this year and differs significantly in its design from the previously usual gas control systems including a crash sensor for wall assembly. Operators can screw them directly to the gas cylinder without any complications, no modifications or similar are necessary. Thanks to the integrated crash sensor, the gas cylinder can always remain open and does not need to be closed separately before starting the journey.
