New surface protection at GOK

As part of our ongoing product optimisation efforts, we have become aware of a modern technology for surface protection. This ensures even higher corrosion resistance while maintaining dimensional accuracy and functionality. Consequently, we will from now on apply a new, high quality zinc nickel coating (ZnNi) to some compression fittings of our range.

The zinc nickel alloy is a further development of the proven zinc coating. Only the appearance of the surface changes: it appears in a darker, warmer tone — a typical characteristic of the particularly resilient zinc nickel alloy and an expression of enhanced quality. 

The transition will take place gradually. However, for you as the user, everything will remain as reliably consistent as before – the function, dimensional accuracy and operational safety of our products remain fully guaranteed.

Of course, our components will continue to comply with all applicable environmental regulations in accordance with the RoHS Directive 2015/863/EU and the REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The new zinc-nickel coating complies with the standard EN ISO 19598 and guarantees the highest level of technical safety and quality.
