Excess flow valve low pressure
for connection to the outlet of the low pressure regulator, for protection of hose assemblies
- prevents gas escape in case the hose assembly is damaged or becomes loose and closes the gas flow when the nominal flow rate is exceeded by 10%
- automatic excess flow valve SBS/AU:
opens automatically, which keeps gas leaks to a minimum and means delayed opening in the case of long hose assemblies
- EC type examination certificate GAR
- maximum admissible pressure: PS 16 bar
- Excess flow valves SBS with a working pressure of 29 mbar are not suitable for use in Germany!
- In accordance with the requirements of DGUV Regulation 110-010 (German statutory accident insurance, previously DGUV Regulation 79) hose assemblies longer than 400 mm must be secured with an excess flow valve SBS.
- In accordance with DVGW worksheet G 612, hose assemblies longer than 1500 mm must be secured with an excess flow valve SBS.
