Low pressure regulator

for connection to gas cylinders to regulate the pressure to the nominal pressure of the gas equipment


  • corrosion resistant in accordance with EN 16129, annex M
  • capacity stage 1 with pressure relief valve PRV, response pressure 150 mbar, a discharge line can be installed on the pipe socket (8 mm) to discharge the overpressure
  • capacity stage 3 with overpressure safety device S2SR, protection pressure 100 mbar

  • The nominal flows of all the devices must be added together to choose the right capacity stage.
  • In LPG systems pursuant to EN ISO 10239, pressure regulators with a pressure gauge or installation of a leak tester are prescribed.

In the German DVGW worksheet G 608 “Small water crafts – Operating and testing the LPG system”, it is prescribed that pressure regulators and hose assemblies are to be replaced with new ones six years after the date of manufacture at the latest. If the working pressure of the system is 30 mbar, pursuant to G 608 a pressure regulator according to EN 16129, annex M (e.g. part no. 01 280 14) is to be used in the event of a replacement. For LPG systems in boats with a working pressure of 50 mbar, a non-compliance permit applies. There is no obligation to convert to 30 mbar. For LPG systems pursuant to EN ISO 10239, pressure regulators with a pressure gauge or installation of a leak tester are prescribed.
